Zayo, a Denver-based provider of connectivity solutions, announced the appointment of its new president and chief operating officer. Chris Brown joins the company, bringing over three decades of executive leadership experience to his role.
Brown was formerly the founder and CEO of Brown Equity Group, a private investment firm serving energy, real estate, telecommunications and agriculture businesses. His professional expertise spans the infrastructure, energy, chemicals and utilities industries, and he is expected to help Zayo execute efficiently as the company continues to expand its network’s reach.
Zayo is building out its network to meet heightened demand for high-performance connectivity among carriers, cloud providers, data centers, schools and enterprise customers. Brown’s role will be to help drive company growth and operational priorities during this expansion.
