Vantor, formerly known as Maxar Intelligence, announced its rebrand alongside the launch of its newest AI-powered product, Tensorglobe. After a years-long journey to productize its core technology, Vantor has adopted a new name to reflect its transformation from a satellite imagery provider to an end-to-end spatial intelligence company.

Vantor serves customers in the defense, intelligence and commercial sectors, equipping them with solutions that provide clarity during missions that span space, air and ground domains. Its suite of spatial intelligence products integrates sensor data across satellites, drones and ground-based assets to help improve decision-making and autonomous operations.

The company has recently launched several AI-powered solutions. Alongside Tensorglobe, its platform that enables organizations to build their own spatial intelligence systems, Vantor previously released its Raptor software product, which integrates 3D terrain data with drone cameras, as well as Sentry, a site-monitoring tool for operational threats.

“Our business has celebrated significant milestones over the past two years — we launched six next-gen imaging satellites, introduced multiple first-of-a-kind spatial intelligence products and signed partnerships with companies that are shaping the future of mixed reality and battlefield autonomy,” Dan Smoot, Vantor’s CEO, said in a statement. “Vantor represents a company transformed. We’re not just a satellite imagery provider. We’re delivering end-to-end solutions capable of connecting sensor data from every domain, providing a unified intelligence picture that they can turn into a competitive advantage.”
