CanopyBoulder Demo Day & After Party, May 15 at 7 p.m.

Check out the pitches from CanopyBoulder’s spring 2017 cohort at their Boulder Startup Week demo day and after party. The event will feature presentations from innovative new cannabis companies that went through Canopy’s 13-week accelerator program.

The Future of Marketing: How AI will affect the industry, May 16 at 11 a.m.

Hear from a panel of tech leaders about the future of artificial intelligence and the impact it will have on the marketing industry. They’ll discuss everything from user-generated content to AI-driven product recommendation engines.

Growing Your Career As A Startup Employee In A Non-Technical Role, May 17 at 2 p.m.

The focus of many Startup Week events is helping founders and professionals in technical roles, but this event is dedicated to those startup employees on the non-tech side of the business. The panel will offer insights and advice for people in marketing, HR, operations and other non-technical positions who are looking to advance their careers.

Save the Future of Tech - "CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap" Screening, May 18 at 5:30 p.m.

On Thursday, CodeCraft School will host a happy hour screening of the documentary "CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap," which addresses the lack of women in software engineering and development. The showing will be followed by a discussion on women in tech and how to overcome the hurdles that exist.

Crypto and the Law, May 19 at 11 a.m.

The Colorado Electronic Frontier Alliance will discuss the past, present and future of cryptography, as it relates to the tech industry and the law. Learn more about the importance of cryptography and the civil rights battles that surround it.
