Cloud Commerce Marketplace Pax8 Names New Chief Technology Officer

Denver-based cloud commerce marketplace Pax8 has named Avery Moon as its new chief technology officer, with Moon set to lead the company’s product-led transformation and oversee its engineering vision and long-term technology strategy. 

According to a company news release, Moon brings experience from startups and Fortune 500 companies including LinkedIn, Indeed, Wealthfront and Climate. Over his career, he has helped scale businesses from product-market fit through IPO or acquisition on four occasions, driven revenue growth beyond $1 billion twice and built products used by billions of customers worldwide.

Commenting on the appointment, Pax8 CEO Scott Chasin said Moon will play a key role in advancing the Pax8 Marketplace.

“Avery will be instrumental in evolving the Pax8 Marketplace into the new operating system for the intelligent SMB. His track record of success and leadership has proven he’s the perfect fit and will drive Pax8 to new levels of success globally,” Chasin said.
