Out caring the competion: An interview with Jason Lewis of Ecospace Commercial
For a certain kind of individual, entrepreneurship is in their blood. Jason Lewis is one of those individuals. From his farm days of raising hogs and cows to getting his first line of credit at age seven. Jason's early years set the stage for what would become a life of entrepreneurship. As a serial entrepreneur, he has founded companies, raised capital and, most importantly, out cared the competition.
We, at The Colorado Entrepreneur Show, recently had the pleasure of interviewing Jason, where he shared his journey leading up to him Co-founding Ecospace Commercial.
Jason and Ecospace Commercial have brought back high quality service with a personal touch. Jason, first hand, understands the struggles entrepreneurs face and can anticipate factors that they, themselves, often overlook when looking to fulfill their office space needs.
"I still laugh about what I gave up to come over here. It was four years that I had built up in building connections not only in Denver and Kansas City...but other brokers throughout the U.S. that when they had a need in the Midwest, they would reach out to me. If they had a large client that had multiple locations throughout the U.S. they were starting to call me up. So, it was a great setup. But why I kind of tell people I left truthfully is I didn't send Christmas gifts, as random as that sounds. I like to build relationships. I like to be hands on. It’s big, corporate companies and you’re dealing with employees that don’t really have much benefit to what the outcome of the office space is. They just need space and they need it quick to make their life easy…I never really sent Christmas gifts because I never really had anyone to send them to because I was working for these big, large corporations…"
