Colorado Startup Lawyer and Cooley, LLP are joining together to host a new event called Legal Issues for Startups and Entrepreneurs. Our first meetup is next Wednesday, July 10th, 6pm at Galvanize.

The legal issues for startups meetup is an event where entrepreneurs can come for networking, education, and resources on pertinent legal topics in the startup community. The format for the meetup will vary from month to month. Some months will feature presentations from attorneys on hot-button themes. Other months entrepreneurs will share their experiences with legal snafus and misadventures. We encourage participants to submit requests for subjects they would like to see discussed at future meetups.
At the first meetup on July 10th, we will have a "getting-to-know-you" networking session followed by a presentation on the "10 Legal Steps for Building a Solid Startup Foundation."
