Maxar Intelligence, a Westminster-based geospatial insights provider, announced a new leadership appointment. Todd Surdey joins the company as senior vice president and general manager of its enterprise business team.
Maxar operates a constellation of commercial Earth observation satellites, providing high-resolution imagery and software solutions to help customers protect nations and the planet as well as improve navigation and disaster response. The company’s enterprise organization serves customers in sectors such as consumer mapping, energy, automotive and telecommunications.
Prior to joining Maxar, Surdey held leadership roles at companies including Palo Alto Networks, VMWare and Google where he gained extensive experience scaling global software sales organizations. In his new role at Maxar, Surdey will help expand the company’s global presence and partnerships by accelerating the adoption of its AI-powered geospatial products.
