The Design Hour meetup group is going to Aji’s for happy hour. You’ll get a chance to network with mentors from Techstars and Boomtown, as well as with people from the First User Group, Converge and Sterling. Of course there will also be beer and poblano empanadas. Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday.
Foodee Launch Party, September 15 at 6:30 p.m.
Foodee is a startup that delivers food from restaurants to people’s offices. As they launch in Denver they’re going to be throwing open their doors to the community. Come and have a couple of drinks on them, get know the team, and find out more about what they do.
Enrich Life Over 50 Denver Launch, September 16 at 9 a.m.
Enrich Life Over 50, a national movement to end ageism, is launching a Denver chapter. Ageism is a real thing, and seeing as we’re all getting older, it seems like a good idea to work towards eliminating it. People from all age groups are welcome, and even our 45-year-old Mayor Michael Hancock will be there.
The Vinetta Project, September 16 at 6 p.m.
This is being billed as a 2 hour high-impact Pitch and Panel. Basically, the event is hosting 4 female founders that will pitch to a panel of investors and founders of successful startups. The will field pointed questions designed to help them improve their pitches and products. Vinetta is growing quickly and in its first year 85 women have presented their companies and raised over $33 million.
September Tech Confluence, September 16 at 12 p.m.
It’s time for another Tech Confluence. If you’re unfamiliar with the event, it’s a monthly meetup of developers, designers and other brilliant people in downtown Denver. It’s a great opportunity to get your networking on, and to have a chance to listen to some presentations about software related topics.
