How to Fundraise Well in Denver: A Monthly AUA with Reilly Flynn and Pat Riley from GAN Ventures, May 29 at 4 p.m.

Ask Reilly Flynn and Pat Riley from GAN Ventures, the investment arm of GAN, anything! GAN is a community of independent accelerators, partners and investors. Flynn and Riley will answer questions about anything you have ever wanted to know about fundraising in Denver. After the Q&A session, stick around and grab a drink with them and the other curious minds in attendance. 

 

Women Immigrant Minority Founder - Online Success Summit, May 29 at 1 p.m.

Join the Duplessy Foundation for this series of free, online conferences for women, immigrant and minority founders, which focuses on mindset and marketing. Presenters will speak on how they achieved success and confronted business challenges as well as present case studies. The conference will include speakers from companies like Blitzmetrics, ButcherBox and Azimuth.

 

Intro To HTML/CSS/JavaScript­: Free Learning Series, May 30 at 6 p.m.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to code, there’s no time like the present! The Learn to Code Learning Series combines breakout sessions, formalized instruction and group learning for aspiring web developers. This a recurring event that takes place every Wednesday. Can’t attend every meeting? No worries — the structure allows you to come and go as you please and welcomes people of all skill levels.

 

Hack Night!, May 31 at 5:30 p.m.

If you’ve been looking to connect with a community of software, firmware or hardware hackers, then come out for this open-form hack night. There is no strict agenda, so you can come and work on potential side projects, learn from more experienced developers, check out projects like Code for America or look through outstanding issues on an open source project.

 

LambdaConf 2018, June 3 at 8 p.m.

Head out to the foothills for workshops about programming at this year’s LambdaConf, starting June 3. Here is your chance to learn foundations, new languages and libraries, and share research, techniques and applications in functional programming. Designed for aspiring and practicing functional programmers, researchers and students, the conference has multiple speakers and is great opportunity to mix and mingle with other programmers.
