Colorado Capital Conference 2017: MicroVCs, November 7 at 8:30 a.m.

This year's Colorado Capital Conference will focus on Micro VCs, or venture funds that typically manage under $100 million in assets. Attendees will get a sense of new players in the VC community, including accelerators and angel funds, and how startups should approach investors ranging from smaller funds to ones that manage much larger investments.

CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap [Boulder], November 7 at 5:30 p.m.

This week, Girl Develop It and CodeCraft are teaming up to present CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap, an award-winning film that puts a magnifying glass to the shockingly low number of women and minority software engineers. The free event will feature networking opportunities, food, drinks and a roundtable discussion following the film.

3 Untapped Opportunities Designers & Developers Must Capture in Podcasting, November 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Podcasting has never been more popular than it is today, but in many regards, the industry is still struggling to meet its potential. This week's Refresh Denver meetup will feature Vernon Foster II, the founder of Pod Parrot, a podcast consulting agency based in Denver. Foster will highlight a number of ways that developers and designers can create solutions to get the most out of their audio content.
