Lunch & Learn: Messaging and Positioning, Nov. 17th at 12 p.m.

How do you tell people what it is you do? And how do you position yourself in the marketplace? These are tough questions, but also super important ones. This workshop is aimed at tech founders and PR/Marketing folk looking to ensure they’re talking about their products in a memorable (and positive) way. 

 

NewTech Longmont - The Drone Revolution, Nov. 17th at 6 p.m.

The drones are coming! Whether or not you’re terrified of the Coming of the Age of the Drones or utterly excited, it is happening. This event will discuss the business ramifications of drone technology. By 2030 an estimated one billion drones will be in the air, so you might as well get rich off the revolution. 

 

Leadership Spotlight Series: CEO of Icelantic Skis, Nov. 18th at 12 p.m.

Annelise Loevlie, the CEO of Icelantic Skis will be doing a presentation and Q&A at the Commons on Champa as part of their Leadership Spotlight series. The series brings in successful entrepreneurs and lets them share their stories and insights. 

 

NewCo Boulder 2015, Nov. 19th at 8 a.m.

NewCo Boulder features 60 of Boulder’s hottest tech companies, but with a twist. The event is not held in a ballroom, but actually inside the various companies’ offices. Each one of the companies will host an one-hour long session, giving you some insights into what’s new and a behind-the-scene’s tour of their offices.

 

GiveFirst Hackfest, Nov. 20th at 5 p.m.

It’s a Thanksgiving hackfest! Nonprofit will explain the technology they need to fulfill their missions, and teams of techies will take on the task. The hackfest will take place over two days, and teams will build fully functional MVPs to present to the nonprofits. Pretty sweet, right?
