RVC Monthly Pitch Event: Oil & Gas Investing, July 14 at 5 p.m.

The Rockies Venture Club is hosting their monthly pitch event this week. Yes, it’s about oil and gas investing, but that’s a subject most of us know nothing about — so it has the potential to be really eye opening. There’ll also be a happy hour.

Zero to Web Designer in 8 Weeks, July 14 at 6 p.m.

This might seem kinda pricey, but for 8-weeks of classes that get you up to speed as a web developer, it’s priceless. Basically, this series of classes will take you from being a normal, well adjusted human into someone who use HTML5 and CSS3 to design fully functional websites. Pretty sweet.

Posner Poverty Hack, July 15 at 3:30 p.m.

A three day hackathon for good. The Ponser Center for International Development is hosting the event to help create innovative solutions to international development challenges. Even if you can’t participate in the whole shebang, you can sign up for just the opening night happy hour.

Inaugural DenverBeta, July 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Come hang out with some cool people and see what a ton of up and coming Colorado startups are actually doing. If you’ve ever been to BoulderBeta, you know how awesome these events are. Plus, I’ll be there — so you can come say hi.
