Elevate Digital Art Photography Course, October 26th at 6:30 p.m.
This is an intensive 4-week digital photography course at the ELEVATE coSPACE in Frisco. Participants will meet once a week for a month to learn the basics of photography, editing software and digital assets management.
Music Startup Academy, October 28th at 12 p.m.
This will be Denver’s first Music Startup Academy. Basically, the curriculum will cover things like license requirements, business development and technical issues associated with starting a music-themed startup. There’ll be a chance to pitch your ideas to industry leaders and receive some constructive criticism.
Leadership Spotlight Series: Bryan Leach, Ibotta, October 28th at 12 p.m.
This event features Bryan Leach, CEO and Founder of Ibotta, and is part of the monthly Leadership Spotlight Series at The Commons on Champa. There’ll be a chat with Leach, followed by a chance to ask him some questions yourself.
Denver Founders — Startup Horror Stories, October 28th at 6 p.m.
In an ode to Halloween, this event will invite a bunch of very successful people to discuss their scariest startup horror stories. In an industry that celebrates success, this is a great opportunity to hear the rarely discussed other side of the coin — failure.
RefactorU Costume Happy Hour and Info Session, October 29th at 6:30 p.m.
RefactorU is celebrating Halloween early this year, and you're invited. Show up dressed in costume and hear a bit about their coding boot camp. Booze and snacks will be provided and costumes are welcomed, but not required.
Spruce “Virtual Reality” Inspired Haunted House, October 31st at 12 p.m.
It really doesn’t get much cooler than a virtual reality haunted house. Participants will don a pair of video goggles and be tasked with walking into an empty room to retrieve a key. Sounds easy, right? Well good luck, and be sure and reserve your spot early.
