1. Yonomi Investor Deep Dive, Jan. 6 at 12 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to meet face-to-face with the company CEO and leadership in order to get crucial questions answered. The deep dive will take place at Thrive Cherry Creek in Denver and will cover all the major due diligence questions such as IP, competition, leadership, funding strategy, exit strategy, use of funds, milestones, etc.
2. Distributed Systems with Tim Berglund, Jan. 6 at 6 p.m.
Ever wonder how Google and Facebook can handle millions of users without ever going (or slowing) down? Distributed Systems: How big companies handle big data and big traffic. Join us as Tim Berglund lays out the whys and wherefores of distributed systems. We'll use concrete examples to cover the basics.
3. The Denver Web Technologies Meetup, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m.
Gather with local web developers and discuss technique and solutions to common problems. This group is open to every one from beginners to professionals. There is always a ton of knowledge to be shared.
4. Impact Hub Coffee Collider, Jan. 8 at 8:30 a.m.
Our coffee meetups provide an excellent way to meet members. More than that, we spend time requesting and providing help to one another, solving problems and offering advice. Whether your challenges are small or large, confusing or obvious, it helps to get some fresh minds.
5. Innovation Pavilion's 3rd Annual Anniversary Bash, Jan. 8 at 5 p.m.
Three years ago, Innovation Pavilion opened its doors to start-ups and entrepreneurs in the Denver community. Three years later, we're celebrating not only how far we've come, but where we will continue to go. More importantly, we’re celebrating the member companies that have helped build a strong ecosystem, the partners that have helped us grow, and the support from the startup community in Colorado.
