On Tuesday, zLinq announced that it closed a Series B funding round led by McCarthy Capital. The round’s total was not made publicly available.

ZLinq is a communications lifecycle management tool used by call centers and multi-location businesses to optimize their communication and operations. The Denver-based startup provides call centers with software that enables them to fix issues around customer service and further improve operational efficiency.

“Enterprises today are shackled by poor service from providers and the legacy drag of old technologies,” Tatiana Finkelsteyn, CEO of zLinq, said in a statement. “Communications is the circulatory system of every business and one of the largest IT budget categories, and it is poised for transformation in [an] unprecedented way. ZLinq plans to play a major part in this transformation by becoming a market leader through a unique combination of its business model and proprietary software.”

With the new funding, zLinq plans to hire additional team members and also invest in SaaS product development for its platform.

Besides securing funding, zLinq has had other successes in recent months, including being named the third fastest-growing small business in Colorado by the Denver Business Journal

“ZLinq has a proven track record of increasing employee efficiency and reducing communications expenditures. Their focus on several key mission critical industries including healthcare, manufacturing and financial services make them especially valuable to clients,” BJ Hansen, managing director at McCarthy Capital, said in a statement.

ZLinq is currently hiring and has several openings listed on Built In for its sales and operations departments.
