D.C.-based hotel performance management platform myDigitalOffice announced on Tuesday the acquisition of Focal Revenue, a hospitality intelligence software company based in Denver.

The deal will expand myDigitalOffice’s granular hotel revenue insight offerings to help the hospitality industry close gaps between sales, marketing and revenue teams. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Focal Revenue allows hoteliers, those who own or manage hotels, to get better insights and track profits and losses over time, empowering them to make better sales and marketing decisions. By joining forces, Focal’s technology is expected to accelerate myDigitalOffice’s growth. The acquisition will also give additional support and customer services resources to Focal’s customers.

“Enhanced revenue data is the number one thing that our customers have asked us for over the last 18 to 24 months,” myDigitalOffice founder and CEO Ali Moloo said in a statement. “This acquisition will fuel our continued mission to create a truly end-to-end hotel performance management platform. It’s a monumental milestone for us and a great honor to welcome the Focal team into the MDO family as we continue to drive positive change in our industry through innovation and customer service.”

MyDigitalOffice empowers hoteliers with digital access to all of their hotel’s documents in one place alongside cross-functional performance metrics. The platform allows hotels to increase team productivity, budget and forecast and reduce environmental impact. It also allows hospitality brands to optimize productivity through cloud-based dashboards, document management software and integrated data feeds.

“The incorporation of Focal Revenue into myDigitalOffice’s platform has the potential to transform the way hoteliers digest their data. We’re excited to see how this partnership will evolve and to marry together hotel revenue and performance data to provide hoteliers with the best possible insights,” Focal co-founder and president Mike Medsker said in a statement.

MyDigitalOffice is currently hiring five positions across operations and sales teams, all of which are remote but tied to the company’s offices in Bethesda and Atlanta.
