Techstars is well known in the Colorado tech community. The accelerator program started in Boulder in 2007 and has since become an international sensation helping over 2,000 startups in their early stages.

The Techstars Boulder class of 2020 is the accelerator’s 14th program of its kind. However, this year’s iteration is a little different. Due to the global pandemic, Techstars Boulder had to shift its operations to online-only in the middle of its 13-week program. The program began in January, which means the class of 2020 is near completion.

Usually, each Techstars program climaxes at an event called Demo Day, where the 10 startups that went through the program each pitch their startup idea and show off their product. Techstars Boulder will still host its 2020 Demo Day, but this year it will be entirely virtual due to the statewide stay-at-home order.

Techstars Boulder’s virtual Demo Day will be hosted on April 30 at 6 p.m. MT. The event is free and anyone interested in attending can RSVP through the Demo Day event page. Then, at the time of the event, Techstars will send out pre-recorded pitch videos to attendees.

“While the energy of the live event at the Boulder Theater will be missed, this new innovation around Virtual Demo Day is going to have an even greater impact and reach for the ecosystem and companies,” Natty Zola, Techstars Boulder’s managing director, told Built In in an email.

Virtually attending Demo Day will give people an opportunity to meet some up-and-coming startups and get an insider’s look at what’s going on in the world of tech. Although Techstars Boulder is based in Boulder, the startups hail from all over, including across Colorado, Utah, Oregon, Illinois, California, Montana and Mexico.

Here’s a list of the startups that will be pitching at Demo Day on April 30:

  • Beanstalk — an online educational platform for young children.
  • Best Shot — a fertility startup that helps with fertility treatments.
  • Charmed — an app that allows friends to give advice when using other dating apps.
  • Demoflow — a platform that makes it easier for sales professionals to demo their product.
  • FITco — business management software for fitness centers.
  • TermScout — a tool that helps review business contracts.
  • The Accessory Junkie — an e-commerce site selling curated accessories.
  • Sympatic — a startup that helps healthcare organizations share sensitive data securely.
  • VideoPeel — a tool that helps companies publish video reviews and testimonials.
  • Warmly — a tool that helps customer success teams use their customers’ networks.
