Major growth is on the horizon for Fort Collins-based Madwire. Today, the marketing tech company announced that it signed a lease on a new, 102,000-square-foot space. The office will allow the company to grow from 500 to 1,200 employees over the next three years, expanding teams across all departments. Peter Kast and Pete Kelly with CBRE in Fort Collins represented the building’s landlord, 2001 Danfield, LLC.

Madwire blends professional marketing and design services with a SaaS marketing platform to create what they call “SaSH” — software and service hybrid. Since its founding 2009, the company has experienced rapid growth and continued success.

In 2016, the company consolidated three offices in Loveland into one large office in Fort Collins in an effort to improve collaboration and communication among its growing teams. With that same spirit in mind, Madwire has chosen a secondary location that is only about three miles from its current office. It intends to keep that space and move about half its workforce to the new office by January 2019.

“Madwire is a company that prioritizes their employee experience and company culture, so it was important for them to find the right space and to stay close to their current office,” said Peter Kast, senior vice president of CBRE in a statement. “As demand for Madwire’s services continues to rise, 3405 South Timberline was one of the only buildings in the area that was large enough to accommodate the company’s impressive growth.”

The company ranked 14th on our list of the largest tech employers in Colorado in 2017 and has been named to Inc. 5000’s list of the fastest-growing companies in the nation for five years running. It was also one of only three Colorado companies to earn a spot on Glassdoor’s list of Best Places to Work, coming in 11th for the small- and medium-sized businesses category.

“We are excited to begin the renovations on the new space, and our team is extremely excited about the expansion,” said Farra Larimore, public relations director for Madwire in the statement. “The new building is less than three miles from our current location, which will still allow for team collaboration. We are especially excited to be able to grow to 1,200 over the next few years with the addition of this building.”

The new property includes a cafeteria and fitness center and is conveniently located near bike trails, retail shops and other services. The lease begins in November 2018, after which Madwire will start renovating for a January 2019 move-in.
