Market Response Representative/Sales Development Representative

Altvia is seeking a passionate candidate for our Market Response Representative (MRR) role/Sales Development Role (SDR).  Our MRR/SDR  is the person that is responsible for making sure that our Sales team has amazing, qualified leads to work with in order to close business.    This is an entry level position at our company with so many opportunities to grow and develop.  

About us:

Altvia is a premier Salesforce.com partner that operates at the intersection of finance and technology. We deliver software solutions for Private Equity Fund Managers and Investors. Our primary product offerings include pipeline management, portfolio tracking, investor correspondence, and secure sharing of documents with external parties.

 Your Objectives in this role:

  • Fill the top of the funnel by both responding to inbound interest generated by our marketing team and by proactively prospecting over the phone and via email

  • Work with the Sales team  to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals

 What you’ll do:

  • You’ll research and follow up on inbound web leads, leads from conferences and other inbound activity

  • You will actively prospect for new clients by hopping on the phone to call potential clients  

  • You’ll actively qualify leads and assign them to the appropriate Account Executive

  • Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline

  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities into the sales funnel

  • Work with the Sales team  to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals

  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce.com, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached

  • Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards

What you bring:

  • 1-2 years of experience

  • Proven success in an MRR/SDR role

  • Positive and energetic attitude

  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills   

  • A self-starter and have the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced and always changing environment

  • You have an ambitious attitude and a desire for continuous improvement

  • A degree from a four-year university

Bonus points for:

  • An understanding of Private Equity / Alternative Asset management

  • Experience  with Salesforce.com

  • Experience in a SaaS company

  • Familiarity with Account Based Marketing
