Campus Membership Manager
You organize your life down to the minute, blocking time every day for working your sales funnel, keeping Salesforce.com up-to-date and accurate, engaging members to improve their experience, and you have absolutely no appetite for falling short of membership goals. STILL INTERESTED? Galvanize is looking for a highly motivated business development specialist to join our membership team, and support our campus membership goals and initiatives. Our ideal candidate is a team player and operates at a highly organized and efficient level. Diligent follow-up, an ability to tell and sell the Galvanize story, and experience managing a lead pipeline are must-haves to be successful in the role. The ideal candidate will thrive in an exciting and evolving company, and will want to be a critical part of a scaling business.
- Actively manage an inbound funnel of individuals and companies that are interested in Galvanize membership.
- Follow-up with interested prospects, working them through the membership funnel, and closing a high percentage of inbound member prospects.
- Give tours of the campus to interested prospects, telling and selling the story of Galvanize, and what it means to be a part of our community.
- Meet and exceed monthly membership goals for our Seats, Desks, and Suites.
- Retain membership by keeping in regular communication with every member, ensuring we’re meeting their needs.
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain prospect information in SalesForce.com.
- Attend sales and product training, and develop proficiency in all things Galvanize, as well as a basic understanding of the technology, education, and startup industries.
- Preferred 2-3 years related experience in sales/business development.
- Prior experience in technology, education, or startups is a plus.
- Flexible and adapts to change easily.
- Ability to quickly develop relationships and establish credibility through consultative needs based conversation.
- Ability to think on your feet to creatively solve our potential members’ needs.
- Exceptional and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment.
- Must be comfortable meeting and exceeding monthly quotas and handling rejections.
- Must have a positive attitude, confident, and desire to be the best.
- Experience with SalesForce.com is preferred.
