Senior Manager, Sales Operations
Overview
The Senior Manager of Sales Operations and Strategy leads sales analysis and operational functions essential to sales efficiency, reporting, and success. This includes planning, reporting, analyzing, sales process optimization, and sales program implementation.
The Senior Manager, Sales Operations job family is the critical link between the development and execution of the sales and go-to-market strategy. This individual handles a range of tactical and strategic responsibilities, including compensation/incentive plan modeling, territory structuring and alignment, lead management, process optimization, data modeling, analytics, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Sales Operations team and all functions related to SFDC reporting and dashboarding
- Administer overarching sales tech stack including; SFDC, DiscoverOrg, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and beyond
- Develop and maintain CRM dashboards to provide reporting on key metrics and analytics related to quota obtainment
- Support sales forecasting activities via pipeline and historical analysis
- Create and design process improvements that provide efficient and scalable sales processes
- Lead the design and management of our territory structure in our CRM
- Regularly interact with senior management and executives
- Develop and control all data governance policies and procedures
- Monitor the sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data
- Lead and execute on cross-functional projects for key initiatives
- Develop and ensure accurate preparation of sales reports for leadership presentations
- Assist other sales leaders as necessary to ensure sales targets are met
- Proactively monitor sales organization efforts and identify opportunities for sales process improvements
- Partner with Sales leadership on defining policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure tight management and analysis of the lead management process
- Collaborate with peers across the business to improve the overall effectiveness of our go-to-market activities
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve sales team efficiency and lead efforts to scale standard methodologies
Qualifications
Requirements for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1+ years of previous supervisory experience desired
- 3+ years of related operations experience
- 3+ years’ experience in data extraction and providing insights through reporting
- Expert level knowledge of Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Expert level Excel skills
