Job Description:

MuscleSound, Inc. (www.musclesound.com), a Denver-based healthcare software company is looking to expand its sales staff. MuscleSound uses advanced analytics to automate ultrasound images. Our technology has the ability to quantitatively, accurately, and non-invasively measure muscle health within seconds.

The Sales Specialist is responsible for converting inbound leads, as well as lead generation, and overall sales execution. This position will report directly to the Director of Operations and will work cross-functionally with the other departments, as required. Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business using existing and new customer networks and markets
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (pipeline, quarterly sales results, and annual forecasts)
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions on a frequent basis
  • Exhibit a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with customers and team members
  • Bring a willingness to offer innovative ideas and participate in a dynamic work environment
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
  • Develop positive relationships with clients
  • Comfortable with on-site demonstrations and client interaction
  • Other responsibilities and projects as deemed necessary

Desired Skills:

  • Proven record of successful sales experience
  • Passionate about sales, with a relentless work ethic
  • Capable of generating new leads, qualifying prospects and managing a sales pipeline
  • Hands-on knowledge in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Experienced ability to close sales in a timely manner
  • Excellent written & verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot and MailChimp), MS Office, and Google Docs
  • Experience in software, healthcare, science or research fields highly preferred
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
