Position Description

We are seeking a high energy individual with strong technical aptitude and sales instinct to join our team as a Conga Alliance Team Partner Account Manager (Alliance PAM). Among Conga’s many partners, Salesforce and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are our top go to market Alliances. The Alliance PAM will be responsible for engaging with Conga’s Alliance Partners’ Field Sales Organizations in qualifying, identifying and developing quality sales opportunities for the Conga Alliance Team organization. This integral teammate will drive market share by creating and delivering leads from the Conga Alliance Partner Field that build pipeline for the Conga sales teams globally. This individual will interact with members of the Salesforce and AWS Field Sales Organization and Salesforce and AWS Go to Market teams all levels.. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance their skills and take their career to the next level!

Primary Responsibilities

  • Capture 100% of all inbound inquiries from the Alliance field across alliances, channels and systems
  • Effectively utilize the lead qualification process as well as documenting sales information in Salesforce (the online tool) following the lead process.
  • Follow-up on trial request and route appropriately
  • Follow the sales process utilizing the lead scoring system
  • Outbound prospecting to target the assigned market segment. Develop leads via the Alliance Partners’ Field Teams into prospects by understanding their challenges/needs and effectively communicating Conga value.
  • Qualify and Identify prospect needs by leveraging key contacts within an organization and via their relationship with Salesforce.
  • Identify high potential prospects and transition the qualified lead to the Conga Sales Team for further follow-up.
  • Responsible for meeting weekly goals and established metrics
  • Utilize the sales tools provided
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

An excellent candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications

  • Familiarity with Salesforce as a company, the roles and responsibilities of their team members and a general understanding of the Salesforce product set
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a company, the roles and responsibilities of their team members and a general understanding of the AWS go to market
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Minimum of six months of demonstrated success in an inbound and/or outbound prospecting role
  • Minimum of six months experience in the Salesforce Ecosystem
  • Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to function in times of ambiguity
  • Ability to multitask across projects, timelines and functions
  • Proven follow-up skills
  • Results oriented, capable of bringing prospects and third-party partners to the next step in the sales process
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Team Player
  • Experience in lead qualification, inbound situational triage, outbound prospecting and lead development management
  • Experience with Salesforce google Docs, Microsoft Office and Office365; especially proficient in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Outlook
  • Articulate and professional, enthusiastic attitude and a focus on results are required
  • Strong communication skills, ability to reach prospect creatively, position solution/product effectively
  • Desire for knowledge and the pursuit of self-improvement.
