National Account Executive
EMS Software is looking for a full-time National Account Executive. The primary objective of the National Account Executive is to maintain and grow our software solutions footprint in our target market. The successful candidate will be able to understand and identify industry trends, buyer personas, and buyer pain points, and they have the know-how to articulate exactly our software solution can address those needs. We’re looking for a driven professional who will become a subject matter expert – of our product, their territory, as well as the buyer’s journey.

Education/Experience:
National Accounts Executive:
- 5+ years of sales experience, with strong preference for those experienced with selling enterprise software
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships (we’ll look for a proven track record)
- Willingness to travel to trade shows, regional roundtables and onsite prospect and/or client visits
- Ability to manage a healthy and accurate pipeline
- Understanding of financial terms, business processes and value selling
- Experience with negotiation and customer-facing presentations
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Senior National Accounts Executive:
- 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with strong preference for those experienced with selling SaaS
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships at the C-level (we’ll look for a proven track record)
- Demonstrated ability to share vision and provide innovative client solutions for future growth
- Proven ability selling to multiple C-level stakeholders including business and IT
- Serves as leader and mentor to team, providing sales and solution guidance through coaching
- Willingness to travel to trade shows, regional roundtables and onsite prospect and/or client visits
- Ability to manage a healthy and accurate pipeline
- Understanding of financial terms, business processes and value selling
- Experience with negotiation and customer-facing presentations
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Completion of structured sales training curriculum preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
