The ideal candidate is a highly organized, influential, and a systems expert + data-savvy strategist. You’ll have diverse skill sets that span business operations, systems implementation + integration, process design & improvement, data/analytics, and program management. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and know how to navigate cross-functionally to get things done and lean in where additional support is needed.

This individual will need to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to solve problems, implement and integrate new systems + reporting solutions, create operational efficiencies, and deliver successfully against high organizational standards. This role will report to both the head of Sales and head of business operations and will own the GTM systems + process stack. This role will will work will work across all levels, from individual contributors to VPs in supporting the sales, customer success, marketing and Ops orgs to achieve their goals and to improve the brightwheel customer experience for our educators and parents across the country.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Sales, CS, and Marketing reporting, forecasting, and planning within the go-to-market (GTM) organization
  • Work to ensure all GTM organization objectives are met in a timely fashion
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales, CS, and marketing reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization
  • Communicate recommendations, solutions and change to a variety of audiences across functions and levels in the org ensuring the right level of detail is given to the right audience
  • Assess business needs using critical thinking to reduce gaps and overlaps across process, tools and people as we scale quickly
  • Work closely with Sales/CS/Marketing management to inspect process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
  • Assist management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and build an organization of continuous process improvement
  • Design and build customer-facing and/or internal processes to streamline and optimize the most critical work done by the GTM organization
  • Work with teams on areas requiring significant change management and do so in a way that minimizes disruption
  • Partner with Strategy, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering teams teams to improve cross-functional work processes and ensure alignment and execution on strategic objectives
  • Evaluate, Implement, integrate, and manage enabling technologies across the sales, CS, and marketing teams, including Salesforce
  • Manage vendors and developers to constantly optimize our system implementations
  • Work closely with management to optimize the effectiveness of the company’s technology investments.
  • Coordinate training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, 8+ years experience (3-5 years of experience managing sales or business operations in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, preferably B2B software companies
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional listening, oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
  • Results Oriented: A track record of consistently delivering excellent results, even in the face of a changing environment. Regarded as a strong performer, strong attention to detail and solid leadership skills
  • Analytical Skills: Deep analytical skills and ability to identify patterns, process information and make decisions in a timely manner
  • Proficiency in data visualization with tools such as Mode, Tableau, etc
  • Flexible/Adaptable: Have a strong sense of self and can relate well to others; learns quickly and can adapt to changes in timeframes, people and situations with ease
  • Critical thinking and judgment skills with respect to people and priorities
  • Patience, drive, and appetite for early stage benefits and challenges, invested in solving both high and low-level problems
