Salary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year

The role of the Website Development Project Manager | Account Manager is to oversee and manage design and development projects at Intuitive Websites (IW). The position works with the Digital Marketing Manager, Creative Director and other IW leadership to ensure the IW team is completing client action items, meeting deadlines, staying within approved budgets and meeting client priorities. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan and providing timely and effective client communications. The Project Manager also follows the project’s objectives and oversees quality control throughout its life cycle. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, and will handle some account management as part of their duties.

The candidate must have experience in a digital design and development environment, including overseeing the project management of WordPress development, Digital Marketing, Digital Design and SEO.

This is a remote position.

Job Description

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage the defined project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with other senior management.
  • Develop full-scale project action plans and execute on them
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion and provide/manage development schedules as needed.
  • Oversee the planning and the scheduling of project timelines and milestones and track project milestones and deliverables using IW software and apps.
  • Review and QC deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
  • Proactively manage changes in project action items, identify potential crises before they happen and devise contingency plans.
  • Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Effectively manage the design and development team within an agile framework.
  • Create and implement cross-departmental workflows, processes, improvements, etc. in order to increase the efficiency of Intuitive Websites as a whole.

Other Responsibilities

  • Work with IW management and team members to insure the projects and monthly digital performance and marketing programs are successful and clients are receiving value from our services. This is measured in client retention rates, meeting deadlines, the profitability of the program, client success stories and overall growth.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Accountant on the company accounts receivable report on a weekly basis to review project and monthly work is being invoiced and paid in a timely fashion.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Experience commensurate to success in this position
  • 3 years+ experience managing full cycle projects to completion
  • Familiarity with major Project Management methodologies, including and most importantly Agile

· An understanding of WordPress, SEO, social media, email marketing, AdWords, content marketing and related digital marketing services

  • Capable of working remotely

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Trello Project Management Software
  • Experience managing design/development teams on an agile framework
  • PMP, CRM or other Project Management Certifications
