Healthgrades is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our team in Denver, CO. Are you looking for a company where you can grow and make a difference?

The Senior Program Manager for Data Science serves as a critical leader in a highly complex enterprise-wide program.  The Senior Program Manager articulates the goals, objectives, and business impact of the program and is accountable for documentation, communication, and implementation.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
Program Leadership

  • ​Serves as the leader for a highly complex, critical, and/or enterprise-wide program and its associated projects from inception to delivery
  • Articulates the vision, goals, objectives, and business impact of the program as outlined by data science leadership
  • Develops detailed plans for program including business requirements, resource needs, success metrics, and implementation timeframes and deadlines
  • Identifies and defines the list of dependent projects that support the overall program goals and objectives
  • Delegates individual projects to team members and other program stakeholders

Program Management

  • Facilitates and coordinates efforts of cross-functional teams, third party partners, and customers to formulate project plans, align project deliverables, and deliver program outcomes that achieve the defined success metrics
  • Anticipates, addresses, and resolves program risks, obstacles, and bottlenecks
  • Mentors and coach’s teams on program and project best practices, techniques, and tools

Communication

  • Serves as the central point of contact for all program stakeholders
  • Leads dialogue with program stakeholders to ensure awareness and transparency of program status
  • Ensures collaboration, communication, awareness, and alignment amongst program stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management including ownership of planning, scheduling, communication, issue resolution, change management, risk management, and prioritization responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of program management frameworks, templates, and methodologies
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time (for yourself and project stakeholders) to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify and resolve conflicts related to program data, processes, and goals amongst program stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and train co-workers on policies, processes, and best practices
  • Ability to identify and document program risks, obstacles, completed activities, etc.
  • Strong experience with Jira a plus.
