Position Summary: The Project Manager, under very limited or no supervision, has primary responsibility for tracking and managing projects with internal departments based on client requirements. The projects may also include managing third party partners and cross functional internal operational improvident and R&D initiatives.

In this role, the Project Manager directs and executes a variety of account services, customer success, and project operations with strategic diplomacy. Reports to: PMO Manager
Essential Job Functions
Ensure assigned projects are delivered on-time and budget
Confirm project resources are in place and monitor resource utilization for assigned projects
Manage internal deadlines and hold project members accountable
Create and maintain project documentation per quality standards
Measure and document weekly project progression for internal stakeholders
Communicate progress internally via team updates and project tracker
Host meetings including, but not limited to, project kickoff, data presentations, milestone meetings, project close and Lessons Learned
Act as liaison between project team and client during project fulfillment
Maintain relationships with third parties/vendors, as appropriate
Manage all amendments to project scope, schedule, and costs
Escalate project issues to project team members or Functional Management when needed
Monitor quality via client feedback and enforce service standards
Manage projects with moderate degree of complexity and/or high priority projects
Leadership: May assist in recruitment, training, and development of other team members
Travel to Flagship’s partners, customer sites and scientific meetings on a limited basis, as needed (<10%)

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of 4 years of project management experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to travel to Flagship’s partners, customer sites and scientific meetings on a limited basis, as needed (<10%)
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail, especially in written work
Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Preferred Qualifications
Project management experience in a service organization
Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences (Preferred but not required)
Compensation
- $69,000 - $86,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, FSA, life & disability insurance, 401k with employer matching, continuing education opportunities, and an expanded paid time off policy.
