Project Management serves as an advocacy for the business, product and technology organizations to streamline processes in order to ensure successful delivery of projects that align with the goals of Magnite. We accomplish this through our five pillars of support: Cohesion, Commitment, Communication, Confidence and Curiosity. We are looking for a cross-functional project leader with very good communication and mediation skills, enabling teams to remain motivated and on task is highly desired. Project Management is responsible for driving the project team from project inception to on-time delivery while ensuring inter-dependencies are identified and critical milestones are met.
As a Project Manager, you will:
Own the project vision and communication channels required to launch projects within multiple ad tech business lines
Integrate with required departments within the organization to execute overall project delivery and ensure stakeholder commitments are met or exceeded
Responsible for scope control with project stakeholders
Provide appropriate project status visibility for all tiers of below resources:
Team working on project as well as immediate project and technical leads
All involved team leads and project management peers
Upper management / executive leadership
Execute against the project management, product and technology roadmap
Participate in strategic company initiatives to help them succeed
Drive project team accountability to ensure critical milestones and deadlines are met (engineering and product development)
Define and document project implementation plans and dependencies with all involved technical stakeholders
Implement, document and update processes to fit the needs of the team
Work across teams to manage shared resources, interdependencies and other cross-team timelines
Identify and keep track of project tasks, system defects, and backlog
Develop project plans complete with dependencies and milestones
Facilitate project team meetings to identify key action items and blockers
Primary contact for all phases and components of the project
Our ideal candidate will have:
3-5+ years of experience as a technical project manager
Strong knowledge of online ad system technologies desirable
Good communication, mediation and conflict resolution skills with the capacity to keep the team motivated and on task
Prior experience interacting with senior management, both within an engineering department and external to it
Thorough understanding of the project life cycle process to effectively manage project from inception to delivery and rollout
Good analytical and problem solving abilities
Possible travel (up to 10%) and work with remote teams (50%+) across multiple time zones as required
Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies with knowledge of how best to work critical path tasks

The base compensation range for this role, depending on level: $100k - $120k. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base compensation, as well as equity (NASDAQ: MGNI)
