POSITION SUMMARY

As a Project Manager for the Product Innovation team, you will be responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing and documenting all aspects of the specific project you are working on.  You will work closely with upper management in various roles to make sure that the scope and direction of each project are on schedule and that support is being provided by all appropriate departments for each project.

 

CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing identified projects from start to completion with ensuring initial and ongoing quality and accuracy of project information. Proactively identify and verify the required information for evaluation through collaboration with various departments. Assign and engage appropriate company resources.
  • Continuously track and communicate project status. Generate reports, assess trends and modify project plans as required to meet timing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key departments. Maintain working knowledge of goals & strategies product categories and customers to quickly assess project requirements.
  • Maintain an open and enthusiastic communication style with internal customers to facilitate a strong perception of customer focus, flexibility, and responsiveness.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to drive change and improve both process and project outcomes

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUIRED

  • Must be flexible with changes in responsibilities.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of project management experience in fast-paced CPG industry (nutritional or beauty care experience a plus)
  • Must be able to manage internal & external resources (vendors)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years documented experience with project management software (i.e. MS Project)
  • Excellent project management skills required with prior project management experience
  • High energy, motivated individual with a strong sense of personal accountability
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must be team-oriented
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
