Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager of the PMO establishes the strategic outlook for the PMO, collaborates with peers and works with the team to execute the vision. The Senior Manager of the PMO maintains a project management center of excellence including best practices and knowledge-sharing across the enterprise. Responsible for overseeing the product development process and product launch process including:
- Coordinate the activities of high profile, typically large, critical projects across many businesses and technologies. Provide leadership for driving business and technology stakeholders, both internal and external, towards successful implementations.
- Utilizes tools, processes and best practices in the Project/Program Management framework developed by the PMO as well as Client Experience best practices for organizational change.
- Execute the processes by which all Client Experience projects are managed, tracked and reported in a consistent manner.
- Develop new processes and tools as needed for the benefit of improving project execution and delivery.
- Day-to-Day Operations – ensure SLA/KPI compliance is met at all levels;
- Supplier/Vendor Management – supplier rationalization and optimization;
- Client Relationship & Satisfaction Management – develop and maintain exceptional business relationships with key client stakeholders and sponsors;
- Project Management – overall responsibility for management and implementation of program/project modifications and enhancements
- Implement global standard methodology to deliver a best-in-class PMO
- Define, develop and improve Project Management processes, practices, templates, tools and metrics.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and templates that support project management methodology and ensure that stakeholders are appropriately trained.
- Oversee development and maintenance of training standards for project management.
- On-going schedule reviews / audits of active projects to identify improvement opportunities.
- Leverage best practices and lessons learned across projects globally.
- Develop and deploy project management processes and tools.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 3 or more years of direct relevant experience in leading a team.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a product development, engineering, or manufacturing environment, with at least five years of direct experience with product development.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management of product development projects from concept through commercialization.
- Responsible for Talent Review, Recruiting, scaling PS team to meet Global Demand
- Set Framework and Document Measures of Success across Data, Talent, NPI, Training, Delivery Speed, Quality
- Lead Internal Improvement Projects to ensure:
- Clean Data and Dashboards
- PM Scorecard
- Customer Feedback Dashboard
- Selection of Tools & Software for PMO
- Ensure Process Structure & Staff Adherence
- Drive Cycle Time Reduction
- Drive Project Quality Improvement
