POSITION SUMMARY:

The Program Manager will provide project and program management leadership and expertise for the Oncology R&D Program Management FunctionThis individual will manage one or more programs/projects to the desired outcomes using best practices, metrics, and tools, including developing integrated project plans, stakeholder requirements, and balancing competing project constraints of scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk. The program manager may coordinate project managers and other department staff to meet program requirements when available.   They wIll contribute to the development of tools, metrics, and process improvements to enhance department performance and perceived value.  They will work to identify, escalate, and participate in cross functional alignment improvement opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure programs/projects are executed to expected outcomes via the following program/project management expertise
    • critical thinking/facilitation
    • program/project scheduling
    • managing to KPIs
    • managing risk, actions, issues, and decision tracking
    • effective communication 
    • prioritization 
    • effective meeting management
    • business analysis techniques
  • Processing and handling of European Union personal data only as directed by ArcherDX for purposes of personalized molecular pathology

EXPERIENCE:

  • BS/MS/PhD preferred with relevant training in Chemistry, Manufacturing, and/or Biological Sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in the diagnostic or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Project management certification (PMP®, PRINCE2®) or equivalent.
  • Experience operating at the program level for organizational project management.
  • Experience communicating and influencing Sr Management 
  • Experience with design control for medical device development.
  • Understanding on 510k and PMA diagnostic approval process from concept to submission.
  • Understanding of clinical trial logistics and bringing drugs and diagnostics from concept to approval.
  • Experience with clinical trials within a biotechnology, pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical company.
  • Experience with Smartsheets, Atlassian products (Confluence, JIRA, etc), and Google platform
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (post Covid) 
    • remote positions would require up to 30% travel (post COVID)

Expected Pay Rate in Colorado starting from: $129,000.

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s geographic location, qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
