Role Purpose

Craftsy is looking for a Photography Project Manager to support our scaling photo and production department and lead the crucial work of scheduling, reporting, and project tracking. The ideal candidate is quick to take ownership, proactive about asking questions, and comfortable working in a complex, cross-functional and collaborative ecosystem. Excellent attention to detail across a variety of projects and timelines is necessary for success in this role. We expect to see previous project management experience within a video/photo production team and a strong point of view on digital project management tools.


Responsibilities

  • Align schedules across multiple roles and product lines
  • Proactively communicate with key stakeholders to solve problems, allocate resources and ensured timely delivery of assets
  • Ensure changes to dates or deliverables are represented accurately and quickly
  • Maintain project workflows within our digital PM system
  • Ensure calendars and reports represent correct information
  • Ensure all creative requests are complete when submitted to the Photography team
  • Manage incoming scheduling requests for the Photography Team
  • Manage contract employees scheduling
  • Tracking hundreds of physical and digital products
  • Booking talent and locations
  • Manage Photography budget and equipment
  • Support special projects and miscellaneous tasks as necessary

Basic Qualifications
• 3+ years experience at a creative agency or an in-house production team (booking talent, locations)
• Demonstrated ownership over project management processes and software
• Proficiency with expense reports, Google Docs, Excel spreadsheets and Powerpoint
• Managed both master schedules and project budgets
• Experience liaising between cross-functional departments
• Developed and maintained internal status documents and project plans, including ones that identify dependencies and critical paths
• Owned internal traffic and coordination meetings
• Proven record for creating efficient production processes
