The Manager, Project Management manages a team of Project Managers and is responsible for performance management, escalation support, team productivity and process improvement.  The Manager collaborates with other business units to achieve company project delivery goals.

 

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional leadership to team of Project Managers including but not limited to coaching and mentoring of team.
  • Ensures team delivers final product according to customer defined requirements and Statements of Work (SOW) documents.
  • Ensure target utilization numbers are achieved across team.
  • Responsible for reliable, high-quality, on-time delivery of the digital signage solutions for all projects as assigned.
  • Ensure target utilization numbers are achieved across team.
  • Performs job coordination and planning functions such as reviewing schedules, evaluating skill requirements, assessing resource requirements versus availability, coordinating job/customer visits and implementations, etc.
  • Manages performance to established metrics.
  • Conducts bi-weekly operational reviews with team members in a 1:1 format to ensure metrics are being met and issues are addressed.
  • Works alongside Sales and Solutions teams to contribute to Statements of Work and quotes for new opportunities
  • Mentors team through entire project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for leading and implementing process improvements.

 

 

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • Minimum of eight years of successful software implementation, project management, management and/or configuration delivery experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project planning and reporting experience.
  • Experience with Project Management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, RUP, etc.,) /tools (scope management, budget tracking and analysis, risk analysis and management as well as change order processes). 
  • Experience analyzing documentation for customized or pre-packaged software.
  • Experience working with array of external client resources from Project Managers, IT resources, and other departments including client’s senior management teams.
  • Experience scoping projects and working alongside sales teams to create projects that are profitable. 
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Office Suite

 

 

Helpful for Success:

• Master’s Degree Preferred. 
• PMP certification is a plus 
• Scrum Master certification is a plus.
