Limina is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager

What you’ll do 

The IT Project Manager (PM) is primarily responsible for managing multiple projects’ timelines, budgets, scope, risks/issues/key decisions, logistics, and collaboration. Responsibilities also include supporting business development and company operations. The PM commonly works with and manages the tasks for the entire Limina team, ranging from User Experience (UX) Leads, UX Specialists, Business Leads, Business Analysts, Content Strategists, Content Specialists, Technical Team Leads, Architects, and Developers to successfully complete projects. As a PM, you will report directly to our Senior Project Manager. Our engagements are often highly-collaborative - your team will often consist of geographically-distributed personnel, including onshore and offshore resources, as well as Limina, partner, and client resources.

Who you are 

Candidates must be a detailed, structured yet flexible, efficient, consistent, reliable, punctual, and passionate resource that leads, trusts, collaborates and communicates well (both written and oral) with Limina and client executives, leaders, and teams. Candidates must be highly-motivated, both strategic and tactical, strong problem solvers, diligent, have a consistent focus on quality and continuous improvement, are able to work autonomously, and maintain a positive attitude when facing and mitigating adversity or conflict.

Candidates must have experience managing a variety of projects, from planning through delivery, ranging from small (3 to 5 resources) to large (~25 resources), simple to complex, multi-discipline/cross-department, and leveraging a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to Jira, Microsoft Project, Sharepoint Office 365, and Google Suite. Candidates should also have professional consulting experience, including strong client relationship management experience, spanning a variety of industries.

Responsibilities 

  • Assisting with project estimation, proposal development, and contract authoring

  • Plan development, management, and execution

  • Project and budget tracking and reporting

  • Risk, issue, key decision, and change requests management

  • Status reporting and meeting note-taking, including status reviews with Limina and client leaders and teams

  • Project logistics, such as badging, scheduling meetings and travel

  • Collaboration tool management

General skills

  • Project management

  • IT and user experience project estimation

  • Resource management and development

  • Process optimization

  • Planning and delivering using Agile, waterfall, and hybrid methodologies. Certifications for those methodologies are beneficial, but not required

  • Setting up and managing collaboration tools such as Office 365, G Suite, Jira, Airtable, QuickBase

  • High proficiency with Office 365 and G Suite tools, specifically SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Drive, Sheets, Slides, Docs

Minimum requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education and related experience

  • 5+ years of related hands-on experience for a professional services/consulting company

  • US citizen or green card holder

  • Some clients may require Limina employees to adhere to their drug policy, which may include periodic drug testing and background checks
