Position Description
Conga/Apttus seeks a Business Analyst/Project Lead to join its IT team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for being the primary IT point of contact for the organizations they are supporting, working with the business to improve their processes, systems and capabilities. The Business Analyst must have a strong customer service ethic, be organized and analytical, work well in teams, understand how IT is delivered, able to implement a project schedule, have a continuous improvement mindset and be capable of handling multiple priorities concurrently.
Responsibilities
Understanding the business functions, processes and information;
Creating and maintaining a capability, process and system roadmap;
Assist in the development of business case;
Plan and prioritize projects;
Work with across business teams to define processes and requirements for tools;
Collaborate with business to create plans on how they will meet execute the plans;
Work with the development or technology teams to design solutions;
Lead projects to implement new capabilities and improvements to current capabilities;
Learn new tool functionality and configuration;
Help the business and development teams create testing plans;
Guide the business in implementation of new capabilities and processes;
Support solutions created.
Experience, Skills, Competencies
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience, ideally in the high tech industry, with primary focus in business analysis;
- Business knowledge in software/high tech industry, emerging technologies focusing on cloud products, SaaS platforms, or Enterprise Applications a huge plus;
- Project Management experience required;
- Experience in process and data mapping;
- Domain experience in software a plus
- Sales & Marketing (Salesforce , etc )
- FinancialForce
- Gainsight
- Engineering (Jira, Confluence )
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization (senior management, stakeholders, team members, etc.);
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and Visio);
- Well organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline.
