Job Description

Journal Technologies is seeking candidates for software implementations, business analysis, testing, and building of external client relationships. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, requirements gathering, documentation, business process reengineering, application configuration, end-user training, user support, system implementation and system testing. Applicants will be responsible for functional requirements specifications, process mapping, production and maintenance of documentation, application configuration, and training of end users and administrative users. Travel and on-site presence at customer sites is required.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Self-starter accustomed to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly absorb information and become a subject matter expert
• Broad knowledge in application software, technologies, and networking systems
• Experience in requirements gathering and requirements documentation
• Experience in leading requirements gathering sessions with clients
• Must have excellent oral and written skills for use in writing detailed business requirements and presenting solutions to other team members and clients
• Ability to communicate customer requirements effectively with product management and development teams
• B.A./B.S. or equivalent work experience
• Willingness to travel
• Experience in data conversions and data interface projects is a plus
• Experience in justice agencies, particularly courts, is a plus
• Experience with software implementations either with a systems integrator or consulting organization is a plus
• Familiarity with report software such as Crystal Reports is a plus
