Day to day

You will work through complex data environments with companies of all sizes and industries. Most projects involve teams of 2 to 8 people, meaning in many cases you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks for a customer, and you would be accountable for the success of the delivery and handoff from the beginning to the end of the project.

Most of the daily development work is done remotely for our customers. Some travel will be required and is typically connected to the start and end of the project, and usually consists of a few days on site with the customer for project kickoff, training, and handoff. Expect to travel once every month or two.

Depending on your personal interest and availability, additional opportunities to travel are available for sales meetings, training sessions, or conferences. Most travel is domestic, and in very rare cases international.

What we need you to do

• Help clients build data analytics products and get them to come back for more
• Create a collaborative and transparent environment that helps deliver business value in a quick
• and interactive fashion
• Facilitate active and effective collaboration with client stakeholders, development teams and Product Managers to ensure an aligned understanding of business needs.
• Facilitate creativity and shepherding the innovation process – seeking team input and
• buy in on decisions.
• Ensure the backlog is visible, transparent and clear, and provides detailed descriptions
• of the desired outcome to the delivery team.

What you bring to Mashey

• Proof of project management experience in an Agile framework, including what works using the Agile framework and what doesn't.
• Examples of working with Senior Executives who have ever-changing requirements, with the requisite skill set to say “no” or “not right now”.
• Examples of having the tough conversations with Executives where the decision was not the right one, and when the decision was the right one.
• Demonstrate strong motivation, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills - especially in high-pressure scenarios
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to define and achieve business goals and meet deadlines while working both
