We are looking for an experienced account team member who’s ready to hit the ground running for multiple client accounts. A degree in advertising, business, journalism, marketing or another relevant field is required, as is 2-5 years of professional advertising or marketing experience. Comprehensive advertising knowledge, street smarts, and a “can-do” attitude are a must. The candidate must also possess excellent communication and organization skills, show adeptness in managing the details of multiple projects in multiple phases at once, and demonstrate capability in scheduling and problem solving with resource demands. The ideal candidate will be a team player ready to roll up their sleeves, balancing independent management of accounts, as well as support to larger accounts on an ongoing basis.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary client contact on day-to-day development and implementation of marketing communications programs – on strategy, on time, and on budget

  • Proactively manage a joint company strategic account planning process that consistently meets financial targets and critical milestones (including weekly and monthly billing and profitability targets)

  • Manage the ever-changing priorities, deadlines and opportunities for a large volume of accounts while paying strict attention to detail, design and usability

  • Cultivate external and internal relationships to ensure all projects are executed to the highest standard and resources are efficiently utilized

  • Be a steward of the client’s brand, advocating for adherence to brand standards

  • Persuasively present and defend agency work to clients while maintaining a high level of agency satisfaction with each client

  • Ensure quality of agency work by proofreading, reviewing design, and testing technology prior to delivery to client

  • Oversee print production process for accuracy and cost efficiency on all projects

  • Balance meeting management including agenda development, creative presentation and client guidance, as well as scheduling, room/software preparation, and detailed note-taking

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, insights and competitive dynamics of the marketplace


 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, business, journalism, marketing or another relevant field

  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience supporting/managing agency accounts and/or marketing projects

  • Knowledge of branding, interactive and web projects

  • Adeptness in managing the details of multiple projects in multiple phases at once

  • Ability to think outside of the box and perform within a fast-paced business climate

  • Proven ability to effectively and efficiently manage ever-changing priorities and deadlines for a large volume of projects while paying strict attention to detail  

  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications that includes listening to clients, peers and team

  • Demonstrated capability in scheduling and problem solving with resource demands
