A Little About the Role
The Senior Product Manager of Payments will embrace both product strategy and day to day product management and planning. This would include managing the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver winning products. This person will need to partner successfully with Sales, Marketing and Support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
What you will do
- Define the product strategy and roadmap
- Manage software development team’s back log
- Be an expert on our product and become knowledgeable of competitor's positions
- Develop core product value propositions and partner with Marketing to develop core positioning and messaging for the product
- Perform product briefings and demos for large customers
- Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
- Develop sales tools and collateral
- Propose an overall budget to ensure success
- Brief and train the sales force as needed
- Acting as a leader within the company
Requirements
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 3+ years’ experience as a Product Manager or Sr Product Manager
- 2+ years' experience working in Financial Services, preferably the acquiring space
- Strong knowledge of the Transaction Life Cycle
- Previous experience in Fintech or Payments industry
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
- Experience in writing user stories and addressing real world customer needs
- Experience working within an agile development framework
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical aptitude with experience working with development teams
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Must be able to travel 20% of the time (when company travel is permitted)

Salary
$125,000 -135,000 DOE
Location
This position is based in our downtown Denver office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on local COVID-19 health regulations and business needs. While we are mainly working remotely now, this will eventually be an in-office position and candidates must be willing and able to (eventually) work from our downtown Denver office.
