A Little About the Role

The Sr. Product Manager of EdTech will embrace product strategy and day to day product management and planning. This includes managing the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver winning products. The Product Manager will partner closely with stakeholders to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

What you will do

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Lead product vision, strategy, development, and execution across multiple products primarily focused on data, APIs, and technical integrations
  • Manage software development team’s backlog
  • Be an expert on our product and become knowledgeable of competitor positions
  • Develop core product value propositions and partner with Marketing to develop core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Perform product briefings and demos for enterprise customers
  • Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Develop sales tools and collateral
  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success
  • Brief and train the sales force as needed
  • Lead product vision, strategy, development, and execution across multiple products primarily focused on data, APIs, and technical integrations
  • Passion for using data to drive decision making
  • Knowledge product tech stack including product analytics platforms like Pendo or Google Analytics
  • Monitor market direction, client satisfaction and product performance to develop product strategy, in alignment with company vision and goals
  • Responsible for the communication of Product strategy and roadmaps
  • Work in highly collaborative environment with various teams (Software Development, Operations, Sales and Marketing, etc.) to ensure all stakeholders are in alignment with strategy
  • Participate in product related customer and sales meetings as needed

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • 3+ years’ product management experience
  • Experience in the education industry, ideally in EdTech
  • Familiarity with curriculum, assessment, and learning tools is preferred
  • Early learning (infant to PreK) experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in writing user stories and addressing real world customer needs
  • Experience working within an agile development framework
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical aptitude with experience working with development teams
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time (when company travel resumes)

Salary

$110,000 - $130,000 DOE + Bonus!

Location

This position is based in our downtown Denver office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on local COVID-19 health regulations and business needs. While we are mainly working remotely now, this will eventually be an in-office position and candidates must be willing and able to (eventually) work from our downtown Denver office.
