REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
This role is eligible for remote work. FRONTSTEPS is authorized to do business in AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, NC, OR, TX, SC, and WA. If you are not located in or able to work from a state where FRONTSTEPS is registered, we will not be able to consider you for this position.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Our SaaS products power thousands of real estate businesses and help real estate agents and brokerages close more deals and thrive. As Product Owner, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate on our agent-facing tools – including our mobile app – and our consumer-facing property search product.
As Product Owner, you will be responsible for communicating the product vision to the development team and working with them to execute on the product roadmap. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders and translate business and customer needs into user stories, while prioritizing and maintaining a backlog focused on delivering value. This role requires a keen understanding of real estate agent needs, as well as a commitment to creating an exceptional user experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Understand customer needs and translate them into features and enhancements
- Plan, prioritize, and maintain product backlog
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to build high-quality, innovative solutions
- Define features through wireframes, PRDs, and user stories
- Keep projects on track and communicate project status to stakeholders
- Provide internal and external product documentation
- Support product launches in collaboration with marketing, sales, and support
- Performs other duties as requested by management
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of experience with Agile product development, product management, or project management is preferred
- Experience translating business and customer needs into functional and technical requirements
- A passion for design and user experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven abilities in prioritization, good decision making, and follow-up
- JIRA, Confluence, wireframing tools
- Previous sales experience is a plus
