Are you a passionate and driven individual looking to kickstart your career in marketing? Zayo is seeking a Product Marketing Strategist to join our dynamic team. The Product Marketing Strategist will be responsible for defining, messaging, and positioning the value of Zayo's product portfolio in the market. Working closely with both the Product Management and Marketing teams, this role will launch new products and solutions; enable global sales and channel teams; build go-to-market strategies; and evangelize new innovations with customers and prospects.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop deep expertise in Zayo's product lines.
- Conduct industry and competitor research.
- Develop positioning, buyer personas, value propositions, and messaging that differentiate Zayo in the marketplace and resonate with target audiences.
- Collaborate with other marketing functions to ensure Zayo's products, solutions, and services are accurately reflected in programs, campaigns, digital marketing, events, etc.
- Partner with sales enablement to support educating the sales about the value of Zayo's products, solutions, and services.
- Oversee the production of product-related content including (but not limited to) white-papers, presentations, blogs, case studies, solution briefs, web content, battlecards, and sales playbooks.
- Build and execute product launch strategies, in partnership with Product Management and broader Marketing teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in product marketing for a B2B company.
- Telecommunications industry experience preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring innovative ideas to the table.
- Flexibility to travel and work on weekends or evenings, as required.

Base salary range: $85,000 - $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
