About the role:
The Payroll Support Specialist plays a crucial role in providing assistance and support. This individual is responsible for handling inquiries, resolving payroll related issues, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll tasks. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and attention to detail to support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and keep up to date the UK knowledge base.
- Respond to support queries via the shared email inbox.
- Identify, replicate and assist in testing and resolving bugs and issues
- Provide services as agreed under the Infinet “Managed Payroll Services” framework.
- Support any queries and reporting from our Managed Payroll Customers.
- Maintain a checklist and instructions document for validation and approval
- Respond to support requests within agreed SLA’s
- Timely and accurate delivery of Managed Payroll requests
- Replicating, documenting and reporting bugs
- Create “How-to” materials
Requirements
- 3+ years of Payroll experience
- Ability to work with limited supervision, to make decisions and work on own initiative.
- Effective communication skills, in order to effectively document customizations and understand Customer needs with the ability to simplify and explain complex processes
- Proven Payroll experience
- Working in a busy environment with tasks that require a short turnaround
- Familiarity with NetSuite (not required, but nice to have)
- Customer facing experience
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters as necessary.
