Job Description
Freshworks' corporate project management office is a strategic partner to the business working closely with senior leaders to ensure projects and portfolio activities are optimized. Reporting to the CFO, this leader will act as the conduit between Business Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Support and Operations to ensure consistent delivery of key cross-functional corporate initiatives at scale. We are looking for a self-driven, passionate product operations and program management expert to lead cradle-to-grave product life cycle management, voice of the customer, process excellence and drive corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can execute tactically to ensure success.
- Lead and manage large scale, org wide projects in support of our corporate strategy
- Lead projects that spans across regions or have multi-function impact
- Partner with cross-functional teams of program managers to ensure on time delivery of large scale programs from concept to delivery
- Develop best practices for program planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, change management and variance recovery
- Deliver overall messaging of status and issues to key internal and external stakeholders
- Work well across all levels of the organization to excel in stakeholder engagement
- Develop close relationships with other functions to address cross-functional gaps, implement sustainable solutions, and continuously improve processes and partnerships
- Develop and implement necessary project management tools, best practices, and processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and visibility of workstream statuses
Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in Program Management and/or Strategy Operations at high-growth technology companies
- Strong stakeholder management, working with cross-functional teams
- Solid experience planning for and managing several large-scale, complex technical projects and coordinating cross functional project members to deliver quality results on time
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills, and an ability to use data and metrics to support assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses
- Demonstrated proficiency in commercializing NPI, building corporate-wide program plans from ground up, margin improvement and cost reductions
- Passion and empathy for the customer; relentless focus on executing on the most impactful positive change for our users
- Familiarity with ERP and systems integrations
- Experience in a global organization operating across time zones
- Ability to manage time and priorities effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
