Outreach Manager

The Outreach Manager functions as an advocate within the non-emergency medical transportation system for patients and case managers by providing in-service training to facilities on how to use NET services effectively and to promote positive relationships. He/she will report directly to the General Manager and will perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Handles all community based outreach and education
- Develops on going relationship with facilities through face to face meetings, phone calls and group presentations
- Analyzes subscription service requests (standing orders), proactively providing education and outreach to avoid and or resolve problems and increase quality
- Analyzes patient attendance information for prior month from facilities. Proactively provides education and outreach to avoid and or resolve problems and increase compliance
- Analyzes data and in conjunction with the Director of Operations and develops cost management strategies
- Provides in-service training to facilities on how to use NET services effectively and to promote positive relationships
- Oversees all facility coordination and quality assurance activities in partnership with the Director of Operations to include staff management

Education
- Associates Degree or 18 months of post secondary education and a combination of clinical and business experience required
Skills & Experience
- Prior member service and/or transportation service experience, or UR Manager in a health-plan or social worker experience a plus
- Must be knowledgeable of clinical UR and QA, Medicaid guidelines and covered services
- Communicate orally with customers, clients, or the public in-group settings to give instructions, share information and respond to questions
- Produce written documents with clearly organized thoughts using proper English sentence construction, punctuation, and grammar
- Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Travel
- 60% required
- Responsibilities include passing MVR check, maintaining a clean driving record, completing weekly expense reports and other associated records
Salary: Starting at $46,000 a year
