PickNik Robotics is seeking a bright, multitasking, and motivated individual with a history of high performance to support the founding team of roboticists in Boulder, Colorado. You will be part of a great team solving some of the toughest robotic software problems, building platforms that will be used on robots around the world and in outer space!

Am I a good fit?

We are looking for someone with superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple requests. Professionalism in dealing with experts inside and outside the company is a must. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, be able to take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within and outside of the company.

This role will have a diverse focus recruiting and marketing efforts while also supporting office management and bookkeeping. There is a lot of growth potential for this role to increase in responsibility and title as the company grows.


As a young, 15 person company, this role will have the opportunity to strongly influence the culture at our office in Boulder. We're looking for an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats.

 

Main responsibilities

Administrative / Logistical

  • Basic bookkeeping, invoicing
  • Book travel logistics for business trips
  • Improve efficiency of office and managing workspace for the team 
  • Driving key team activities and group logistics
  • Procurement
  • Answer occasional company phone calls

Marketing 

  • Twitter / LinkedIn /Social media
  • Blog Posts / Articles
  • Case Studies / References
  • Coordinate booths at conferences

Recruiting 

  • Screening calls
  • Follow up with candidates
  • Schedule interviews and booking onsites
  • Outreach

Our office has a flexible work environment, supporting various degrees of working from home and remote work. For this position we do require someone who can work from the downtown Boulder office roughly 50% of the time.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative role in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelors-level education
  • Proficiency with Google Office Suite: Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Positive, proactive, and able to have fun at work and help others do the same
  • Ability to handle administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed
  • Ability to utilize sound business judgment
  • Exceptional planning, time management, and organizational skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the tech industry
  • Experience with supporting recruiting and marketing
  • Experience with QuickBooks bookkeeping software
  • Experience working with international teams and organizations
  • Excited about cutting edge robotics technology
  • Fluency in other languages, particularly Spanish, German, or Chinese, a plus
