What does an Office Manager do at CyberGRX?

The Office Manager provides general support for the company in various facility, administrative and people operations duties to maintain an orderly and well-run office environment. The right person for this role will be highly organized, proactive and have a “get-things-done” attitude. You should be a self-starter who enjoys working independently and with a wide variety of personalities and is highly adaptable and reliable in an extremely fast-paced and rapidly growing company.


What a day in the life looks like:

  • You will continuously walk around the office and ensure the space is clean and well organized. 
  • You’ll constantly look for opportunities to streamline processes, find efficiencies, save money, etc.
  • You will manage conference rooms and conference room technology.
  • You’ll ensure visitors, vendors and deliveries are taken care of upon arrival.
  • You will own the office inventory and order food and beverages, including coffee, snacks and catering, supplies, office furniture, etc. and budget/vendors associated with all purchases.
  • You’ll partner with the building management on any facilities related inquiries and requests; manage the #aroundtheoffice Slack channel.
  • You will assist with travel arrangements and in-office scheduling of potential candidates/new hires.
  • You’ll act as a culture champion by helping plan company social events, support in-house meetups, etc., and facilitate cross-company interactions.
  • You will plan and manage company-wide events, including weekly lunches, summer picnic, chili cook-off, holiday party, etc.
  • You’ll partner with the People Ops team on necessary administrative functions. 
  • You will assist the EA/Chief of Staff with Executive events and various requests as necessary.
  • You'll unload and restock food and beverages from Costco orders, sometimes lifting up to 25lbs.


What you bring to the table:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a support role.
  • You are an expert at all Microsoft Office programs.
  • You are extremely organized and detail focused.
  • You love helping people and keeping things in order.
  • You’ve got experience coordinating travel for executives.
  • You love planning fun events and finding ways to make life easier for your teammates.
