Hiring rate/range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually, eligible for a variable incentive bonus at an annual target of 10% of annual salary

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.

Work Location: Denver, CO. Our office is open, and we require all staff to be in the office a minimum 2 days per week. 
Summary:

To help maintain and grow this standard, we’re seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily activities. As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a sharp business mind and proven success managing multiple departments toward maximum productivity. You’ll be highly skilled in human resources, finance, and IT management. Additionally, you’ll display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team. Your ultimate responsibility is to increase our operational efficiency in Housing Logistics.


Objectives of this Role:

  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity
  • Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
  • Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
  • Effectively manage a remote workforce
  • Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
  • Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals
  • Coordinating different teams to foster the exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities
  • Assessing and analyzing departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits
  • Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives
  • Communicating with the senior and Executive leadership about shifting company priorities and projects
  • Identifying potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue
  • Identifying opportunities to expand or shift course to take advantage of changes in the market
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution
  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems
  • Work closely with legal and safety departments to make sure activities remain compliant
  • Oversee materials and inventory management
  • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or related field
  • 3+ years’ proven experience in an operations management position
  • Effective customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of operations and customer service
  • Trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of management software programs, including Salesforce, Spekit, and Monday

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • 3-7 direct reports, associate level.
