Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking an experienced leader for our Tech Services - Endpoint Management team.  In this role, you will grow, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Systems Administrators responsible for enterprise endpoint administration/management of Twilio’s global mixed platform environment. You, as the ideal candidate, will play a key role in driving the Endpoint Management team and Tech Services organization towards meeting security and compliance goals with a focus on scalable user-centered solutions.

Who?

Twilio is looking for a leader who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record of leading IT teams toward successful outcomes.  

  • 4+ years of people management
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience
  • 5+ years of endpoint systems administration, architecture, or relevant experience in a mixed platform environment (MacOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android)
  • IT Mergers & Acquisitions integration experience
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework/best practices and ability to understand the concepts of standards and regulatory compliance for enterprise systems.
  • The ability to take initiative, solve problems, make big decisions, take risks and communicate effectively
  • Experience in setting Key Performance Indicators for a service based team and reporting on them
  • Previous work experience in a quickly scaling global business is a plus
  • Previous experience with all flavors of MDM -- ServiceNow, JAMF, Workspace One, AWS Workspaces are a plus.

As the Endpoint Management Manager, here are some things you will do to champion the Twilio Magic:

  • BE AN OWNER/WRITE IT DOWN: Manage the Endpoint team--including goal-setting, prioritization, maintaining team budget and project management. Develop robust and mature incident, event, problem management procedures. Ensure that all relevant work is properly logged and that changes follow established change management processes. Ensure that all relevant policies and procedures are properly documented
  • DRAW THE OWL/BE BOLD/DON’T SETTLE: Be at the forefront of new IT and endpoint management technologies. Explore new tools when necessary and constantly re-evaluate existing environments to provide the best solutions.  
  • EMPOWER OTHERS/WEAR THE CUSTOMER’S SHOES: Partner and work with teams within the Tech Services organization and beyond to ensure Endpoint solutions provide an unobtrusive experience for all Twilions--from endpoint users to all endpoint support/stakeholders
  • NO SHENANIGANS: Operate the team in an honest, direct, and transparent way when deploying and maintaining endpoint solutions

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:$109,824.00-$151,008.00

Rest of Colorado: $96,096.00- $132,132.00

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
